I think a unified church and federal government is the key to a considerably more centralized and balanced government. Furthermore, if all people practiced the same religion there would be less internal conflict within the nation. Nationwide unification by religion will inevitably lead to a stronger sense of nationalism, and, in turn, make happier citizens with a stronger love for god and country . Side: yes

The government should not have control over the church because that is against the first amendment. Since we have freedom of religion, we are able to believe in whatever we want to. If the government controls the church then the church will probably be forced into doing tasks that are within their will. Side: No

No the government should not. The founding fathers never stated that the speration of church state would ever happen this country was found on Christian Principles not on governtments Principles. We have the right of Free worship we should not have to be controled by the government, not just Christians but ever Religion. Side: No

As people of the U.S. we all have freedom of religion, we can believe in whatever we want to. If the government controls the church they can make us believe in something we really dont believe in.
