"When the pandemic first hit New York City we started to experience a lot of racism as Asian Americans, as immigrants. Paige foresees lookalikes at all price points emerge in this year. "You may have seen the Mavis boot on the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whitely, and this cult item is sure to inspire footwear collections throughout the year," she says.
"A sense of their old selves again." For both Perry and Wright, the pace of their pre-pandemic lives is something they now recognize as unsustainable. "One thing this period has taught us is how much running around we do," says Perry. As any fashion minded gal would know, no outfit is complete without the perfect accessories. This season, shoes and bags were key to creating some soon-to-be-iconic looks on the runways. "And then we asked ourselves, what if this is the new normal and people won't be shopping in stores as much and will shop a lot online? We're currently improving the experience for customers, starting with choosing your size. That's the most difficult thing; how do you know you're buying the right size online? How do you know it's going to fit if you have a high arch? Everyone has a different type of foot.
