no because if the government wanted control over the church, that would not have created the seperation of church and state. which says that the state or national government can not in any way alter the church or way that people view the church.

Why should the government have control of the church they arent the one teaching or preach you or telling what in the bible . I mean the government need to take care of other things then the churches.
